Beatrice "Bea" Dimmer

Beatrice Mae “Bea” (Klarkowski) (Puckett) Dimmer, 84, passed away on November 1, 2018, at a local nursing home in Ashwaubenon. She was born on April 17, 1934, in Green Bay to the late John and Anastasia (Buyarski) Klarkowski.  Beatrice grew up on Grignon Street in Green Bay and attended school at St. Mary of the Angels and Green Bay East High School. In the 1950's, she moved to West Bend to help her older sister. She began work at National Grocery Store. There she met her first husband, Norman Puckett, who she married in West Bend. After their marriage, they lived in West Bend and were happily married for 2 years, until his death. She returned to Green Bay in 1960’s. She married Roger Dimmer in Green Bay.  Bea was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, and good friend to all who knew her. She was always ready to play a good game of cards and it didn't matter what game was being played. She loved birds, baking and enjoyed gardening.

Bea is survived by her sons, Jim (Lynette) Dimmer of Maribel, Paul Dimmer of Green Bay; daughter, Amy (Ray) Ermis of Green Bay; grandchildren, Amber (Nate) Smith, Troy (Tavia) Smits, Ryan Ermis, Ashley Ermis, Jacob Schindler, Jazmin Schindler, Phill (Alicia) Friemuth, R.J.(Angela) Ermis; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Norbert Klarkowski; nieces, nephews, other relatives; special friends, Joyce and Herb Grulke, Lucille Natchwey, Mary Jane Geise.

Bea was preceded in death by her first husband, Norman Puckett; daughter, Mellisa Dimmer her parents; sisters, Regina (Walter) Schwartz, Pauline (Donald) Adee; brothers, Ambrose "Emery" (Jeanette and Helen) Klark, Bernard (Laverne and Anna) Klarkowski, Chester (Jacqueline and Phyllis) Klarkowski, John (Irene and Mary Ellen) Klarkowski, Felix (Grace) Klarkowski , Francis “Fritzi” (Delmer “Del” McFarland) and (Ruben) Petri, and a sister-in-law, Lorraine Klarkowski.


Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason Street, on Sunday, November 4th, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 12:00 p.m. with Sr. Helen Keyzer officiating.  Burial will be in Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend. 
 
The family extends a special word of thanks to the caring staffs of Woodside Nursing Home and Unity Hospice for all their help and compassion.
