Thomas James Meulemans, 70, Green Bay resident, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 1, 2019. He was born on May 21, 1948, in Green Bay to the late Benedict and Dorothy (Daniels) Meulemans. Tom attended SS Peter and Paul Grade School and graduated from Green Bay Preble High School in 1966. Tom married the former Patricia Phillips on May 20, 1972, at St. Bernard Catholic Church. He was employed as a flooring installer making it his lifelong career, retiring from Home Interiors in January of 2011.

 Tom was an avid Packers fan, enjoyed afternoon card games with his buddies and he looked forward to his yearly trip to Florida with his family. He was a league bowler for many years and enjoyed a round of golf as well. Tom was a compassionate and kind person who will be remembered for having a heart of gold.  His family, friends and neighbors could always count on him no matter what they needed. The true light of Tom’s life was his grandson Logan.

 Tom will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Pat and their daughter, Kristie (Bryan) Liesse, Green Bay and his grandson Logan; siblings: Gerrie (John) Dittmer, Green Bay; Mary Lou (Jim) Laws, Chandler, AZ; Bob (Char) Meulemans, Madison and Judy (Tom) Sunderland, Glendora, CA; brothers-in-law: Bob (Mary) Phillips, Pulaski; Mark (Patti) Phillips, Green Bay and Scott (Joanne) Phillips, Lakeland, FL; many nieces and nephews.

 He was preceded in death by his in-laws, Bob and Ruth Phillips.

 Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. from 4:00-8:00 pm Friday, January 4. Parish wake service 7:00 pm Friday at the funeral home. Visitation will continue on Saturday at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 312 Victoria St., after 9:30 until 10:45 am. Funeral Mass 11:00 am Saturday at the church with Rev. William Hoffman officiating. Entombment in the Allouez Chapel Mausoleum. In lieu of floral expressions a memorial fund has been established in his name.

 Tom’s family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Bellin Hospital’s E.R. department as well as the Green Bay Fire Department EMT’s. Their care and compassion will not be forgotten.
