Charles "Chuck" Loritz

Charles H. “Chuck” Loritz, 68, passed away Saturday, February 2, 2019, surrounded by family and friends.  He was born October 4, 1950, to Alfred and Marjorie (Wagner) Loritz.  After graduating from East High School, Chuck joined the Chicago Northwestern Railroad and would go on to serve the railroad as a pipe fitter for 40 years-20 in Oregon with the Southern Pacific, and 20 in Alaska with the Alaska Railroad. 

On March 24, 1991, he married Deborah A. Brown.  Chuck and Deborah would go on to raise their two daughters in Alaska before retiring and returning to Green Bay in 2014.  Chuck was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.  Time with his family was very precious to him.  Chuck was an avid hunter, fisherman and adventurer that enjoyed sharing stories with his family and friends.

His outstanding character and life experiences will be fondly remembered by his loving wife, Deborah Loritz, Bellevue; two beloved daughters, Rebecca (Jeff) Keyser and Carla (Adam) Larson; a precious granddaughter, Annika Hope Keyser; two brothers, Michael (Carol) and Timothy Loritz; a brother-in-law, Robert Brown; a sister-in-law, Alice (Mark) Alexander; and a close family friend, Gary Bentley. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Al and Marge Loritz. 

Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 312 Victoria St.  A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the church.  Proko-Wall Funeral Home is assisting the family. 

The Loritz family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Bellin ICU for making Chuck’s last days dignified and comfortable.
