Lorraine A. Rietz, Age 98, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2018. She was born July 27, 1920 to the late George and Emma (Wicker) Lasee in De Pere, WI.

Lorraine traveled for many years with her late husband Larry, going to Alaska was her favorite trip. Lorraine volunteered many hours, earning many awards.  She loved to strike up conversations with all that she met. She worked many jobs throughout her lifetime in the Green Bay and Eagle River areas. She also spent a few years in the state of Washington. Lorraine loved to read, play bingo and cards. She was an avid Packer fan and loved to watch golf.

She is survived by her daughter Diane (Dee) Minten Hansen; grandchildren, Laura (Steve) Laurent, Lisa Hansen, Jesse Hansen, and Mary Hansen/Smits; great-grandchildren: Nathan (Meghan) Laurent, Logan (Casey) Laurent, Kaila (Shane) Hansen, Casey (Ciara), Kyle (Lauren), Calvin Hansen, Nicole (Andy) Heyrman and Aaron Hansen; nine great-great grandchildren. She is further survived by stepchildren and other in-laws.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband Larry in 2000, after 43 years of marriage; son-in-law Glenn (Bucky) Hansen; grandson Jay Hansen; sisters, Kathleen Beard and Audrey Lasee; brothers, Gerald, Myron, and Merlin Lasee.

Friends and Family may come to celebrate her life at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 211 N Maple Ave, on Saturday, February 16, 2019, from 11:00 a.m. until the Funeral Mass at 12:00 p.m. Rev. David Schmidt will preside. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.prokowall.com.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund will be established in Lorraine’s name.

We will miss her greatly!
