Our beautiful and loving wife, mom, and nana, Kathleen “Kitty” W. Feldt passed away unexpectedly from a car accident on Friday, June 28, 2019. Kitty was 71 years young, a resident of Bellevue, and was born to the late George and Elnora (McAllister) Perret in Green Bay on December 31, 1947. Kitty attended SS Peter and Paul Grade School and graduated from Green Bay Preble High School in 1965. Following high school graduation, Kitty became employed at Fort Howard Paper Company, and then met the love of her life, Dennis Feldt. Kitty and Dennis married on October 24, 1969, at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church, and would have celebrated 50 years of marriage this October.

Upon starting a family with Dennis, Kitty resigned from Fort Howard and became a full- time wife and mother, which was her natural calling and passion. Kitty was a loving mother, a woman of great faith, and such a beautiful and positive example for her children and grandchildren. Kitty’s favorite place to be was wherever her family was. Together, they enjoyed boating the waters of Green Bay, fun-filled afternoons at Long Tail, and memorable camping trips at Clear Lake in the Minocqua area. She enjoyed winters visiting family, and spending time in Holiday and Marco Island, Florida. Following retirement, Kitty and Dennis enjoyed being snowbirds in Mission, Texas.

Kitty will always be thought of as a loving and nurturing caregiver to her family, always putting everyone before herself. When Dennis’ health took a turn nine years ago, Kitty was his loyal and loving companion and nurse. She wholeheartedly adored Dennis. Although she was unable to donate her kidney to Dennis as she had hoped, her wish to help others in need was granted with her final donation to the tissue recovery program.

Those who knew Kitty, were touched by her genuine spirit, upbeat personality, and sincere care and thoughtfulness. Her sparkling eyes and beautiful, bright smile lit up every room she entered. She had a remarkable way of making those around her feel comfortable and welcome. Conversation with Kitty was effortless, and belly laughs were big. Kitty truly was a diamond in the rough.

Kitty is survived by her husband Dennis and their three children: Sam Feldt and his special friend, Melisa, Bellevue; Gretchen (Dan) Budinger, De Pere and Brad Feldt and his special friend, Jaclyn, Florida; nine grandchildren: Braeden, Benjamin, Olivia and Drew Feldt; Cambria, Callan, Carlee and Caleb Budinger and Bradley Feldt Jr.; her brother, Dave (Kathryn) Perret, Green Bay; two sisters, Yvonne (Dave) Krutz, De Pere and Muriel Perret, Bellevue; two sisters-in-law, Linda (Rick) Fontaine, Allouez and Wendy Gonzales, Louisiana, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by an infant sister and her in-laws, George and Rose Marie Feldt.

Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. from 4:00-8:00 pm Monday, July 8. Parish wake service and family sharing at 7:00 pm Monday.
