Constance J. “Conni” Duranceau, 72, died Friday, September 20, 2019, following a brief battle with cancer.  She was born September 29, 1946, in Marshfield, WI to Fred and Kae (Constantine) Meinke.

Conni grew up in Beaver Dam and was a graduate of Beaver Dam High School, Class of 1964.  Conni later attended U.W. Oshkosh.  She met her future husband Michael in Cape Porpoise, Maine while working at her uncle’s resort.  On October 22, 1967, Conni married Michael T. Duranceau in Beaver Dam.  Together they moved to Madison and started a family.  Later, they moved to Portsmouth, New Hampshire where she taught school, worked at the Hampton Galley as a waitress, and for a day care.  In 1977 they returned to Wisconsin and made Green Bay their home.  Conni managed Green Bay Day Care until the late 1980’s when she began her career in real estate.  For the next 31 years she was a top producer, mentored colleagues, and built many lasting friendships with realtors, lenders, and customers.  Conni loved her children and grandchildren, and always attended their sporting events, programs, and was involved in their careers.  She loved becoming a grandmother, spending time with her grandchildren, camping, going to family events, visiting Door County, and was an avid Packers fan.

Conni is survived by her husband, Michael; her son, Billy (Karen) Duranceau; her grandchildren, Evin, Lorenza, and Zoe; her sister, Elaine (John) Vilker; her sisters-in-law, Carol Ann (Barry) Noble, Lee Duranceau; her nieces and nephew, Christine (Rob) Pierangeli, Jeffery (Lynn) Vilker; her great-nieces and great-nephew, Madelyn, Jackson, Graziella, and Alina; other relatives and many good friends.
