Horst Lindenbeck

Horst Lindenbeck, 91 died Monday morning, November 11, 2019, due to advanced Parkinson’s Disease.  He was born October 15, 1928, in Hamburg, Germany and immigrated to the United States in 1957 with his first wife and daughter.  He worked as a master tailor in various cities before settling in Green Bay where he owned and operated The Custom Tailor Shop for 45 years. 

Horst liked to restore mechanical antiques.  In his younger days, his passion was fishing, especially with his father and brother.  He was a long-time member of Cathedral Parish.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Lindenbeck; his children, Diana (Wayne) Menne and Susan (Michael) Lapham; their mother, Johanna Lindenbeck; Julie (Jamie) Gueths and Gail Boushley; their mother, Joyce Lindenbeck; Valerie (Kevin) Gulseth; two step-sons, Tony and Steve Zahorik; grandchildren, Kara (Darin) Kane, Joshua Menne, Katie (Christopher) Filger, Jonathan Menne, Saffron (Jesse) Bunnell, Colter (Kirsty) Dickenshied, Tyler (Keisha) Dickenshied, Brandon Lindenbeck, Jennifer Gueths, Felicia Gueths, Jason Wilber and Mandy Carignan; numerous great-grandchildren; a brother, Ernst (Beth) Lindenbeck; brother-in-law, Tom (Mary) DePas; sister-in-law, Ann Tebo; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Max and Wally Lindenbeck and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joseph and Agnes Daul. 

Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St.  Visitation will continue from 9:00 to 10:50 a.m. Friday at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral Church, 140 S. Monroe Ave.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Cathedral with Rev. John Girotti and Rev.
