Theresa “Terri” Staats
Theresa Ann (Brunner) Staats, 56, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2020, with her family at her side. Terri was born in Green Bay, on January 22, 1963, to the late Sylvester and Lucille (Vander Kelen) Brunner. On May 25, 1990, Terri married Robert Staats at Bridal Church and Wedding Chapel. Terri enjoyed playing cards, frequenting the casino, playing Sudoku and games on her phone. Terri loved spending time with her family and friends. She especially valued the family trip to Hawaii. Terri liked taking road trips without destinations in mind for the thrill of the unknown. She had a special affection for animals and especially her cats. Terri will be missed for her kind spirit and generosity. She was always willing to help someone in need.
Terri will be deeply missed by her husband of 30 years, Bob Staats, her children, Katie (Tim) Clark, Steve (Kris Dhein) Staats; special nephews, Nathan (Karen) Brunner and Ryan (Gina Moorman) Brunner; great niece, Lili Brunner; sisters-in-law, Sue Brunner, Judy Myers, and Alanna Staats and brother-in-law, Larry Staats. Terri is further survived by many more family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Terri was preceded in death by her brother, Steve Brunner and brothers and sisters-in-law, Deb (Wayne) Bennett, Jimmy Staats and Jerry Staats.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., on Thursday, January 9, 2020, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Online condolences may be expressed at www.prokowall.com.
