After being blessed with more time to watch her children grow up, Lynn Marie (Strojny) Miller, 51, life-long resident of Green Bay, ended her eight-year fight against Stage IV breast cancer peacefully on January 25, 2020, surrounded by her family.  She leaves behind a husband, Edward “Ted” Miller; and two children, Jennifer “Jenna” Miller and Theodore “Theo” Miller.

She was born at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay on August 1, 1968, the first child of Ralph and Joanne (Beaumier) Strojny.  Lynn was a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy.  She later graduated from St. Norbert College with a Bachelor of Science and a Major in Accounting in 1990.  Lynn spent eight years doing invoice and financial statements for Foth, Inc.  She spent another eight years with Kreuger International, Inc. (KI), and focused on state sales taxes, and twelve years with St. Mary of the Angels Parish as an accountant from September of 2007 to June of 2019.  She relished crunching numbers, enjoyed jigsaw puzzles as a form of meditation, but helping her children and being there for them was the greatest joy in her life. She loved taking them to Bay Beach and watching TV together.  Lynn enjoyed taking trips with her family, especially to the Outer Banks, taking cruises, and going to Florida theme parks.

Lynn lives on in the memories of her husband and children; her parents, Ralph and Joanne Strojny; her sister, Anne (Steve) Nevins, Williamsburg, Virginia; her brothers, Jerome (Julie) Strojny, Burlington, Todd (Stacie) Strojny, Sister Bay; nieces and nephews, Aiden, Caleb, Kate, Will, and Olivia; and several aunts, uncles, and close friends.

Friends may call at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 2040 Hillside Drive, on Saturday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church with the Rev. Mark VanderSteeg, Rev. Ponciano Macablo O.F.M., Rev. Brendan Wroblewski O.F.M., and Rev. Robert Kabat concelebrating. Burial will be in Allouez Catholic Cemetery. Proko-Wall Funeral Home is assisting the family.  On-line condolences may be given to the family at www.prokowall.com.  In lieu of flowers, a donation to Ribbon of Hope in De Pere is requested.

Lynn and her family thank the doctors and nurse practitioners at Green Bay Oncology; the nurses at Unity Hospice in De Pere who gave strength as well as comfort for four months; the St. Mary of the Angels Parish and its choir for their understanding, support, and most of all their prayers; and the staff of St. Bernard Catholic Church School for the care they have shown to Lynn’s children.
