Leona R. Pelishek, 93, Allouez resident, died unexpectedly Monday morning, July 13, 2020, at her home. She was born January 28, 1927 in Langes Corners to the late John and Anna (Mroz) Rosik. Leona married Robert Pelishek Sr. on June 1, 1946 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Pine Grove. He preceded her in death on April 30, 1999.
Leona loved her flowers and planting her vegetable garden. On holidays she could be found in the kitchen preparing a meal for family as she enjoyed cooking. Her passion though, was baking, she loved to bake and share her treats with all. Leona had a strong faith all of her life. She lived her faith daily and had time for prayer every day. She was a longtime active member of St. Mary of the Angels Parish and numerous prayer groups.
She is survived by her five children: Robert Pelishek Jr., San Francisco, CA; David Pelishek; Dale (Debbie) Pelishek; Arlen (Pamela) Pelishek, all of Green Bay and Mary Ann (Mark) Van Boxel, New Franken; 7 grandchildren: Kerrie Pelishek, Shari (Emilien) Pelishek-Aboula, Chad Pelishek, Jessica (Norbert) Milquet, Michael (Allyssa) Pelishek, Nicole Pelishek and Christopher Pelishek; 7 great grandchildren: Kayla, Kiara, Michael, Jarret, Karlynn, Kayliana and Nicholas; one great great grandson, Landon; many nieces and nephews and one special niece, Joyce (Rick) Hruska who was always there when she needed her.

She was preceded in death by five sisters and four brothers.
Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. from 4:00-7:00 pm on Thursday, July 16. A parish wake service will conclude the visitation at 7:00 pm Thursday. Visitation will continue Friday at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church, 645 S. Irwin Ave, after 9:30 am until time of Mass. Funeral Mass 10:30 am Friday at the church with Msgr.
