Carola Louise Savage,68, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021. She was born in Ogdensburg, NY on November 26th, 1952 to the late William L. and Lois M. (Worden) Shoen. Carola was preceded in death by her former husband Gregory Jon Suster as well as both parents.
She is survived by her husband of 29 years, George F. Savage, Green Bay WI; her daughter Lindy R. Suster, Harrisonburg, VA; brother William (Janice) Shoen, Ogdensburg, NY; sister Lynn Shoen, Palmyra, VA; brother Scott (Cathy) Shoen, Waddington, NY; and sister Nancy (Karlton) French, Charles Town, WV; and several nieces and nephews.
Much thanks and appreciation are extended to the Aurora Health Care Foundation for their care and devoted treatment in Carol’s behalf. This is also extended to her many friends who have expressed unbelievable support during this difficult time and will be deeply missed as they were very much loved in return.
Her family displayed such intensive dedicated love and health care through her illness. They provided uplifting encouragement through their usual jokes, games, and great food. They all are deeply loved and will be sincerely missed but never forgotten.
