Jeanette Mommaerts

Jeanette A. Mommaerts, 80, Green Bay, passed away in the comfort of her own home on Sunday, April 25, 2021.  She was born on Jan. 7, 1941, in Green Bay to the late Kenneth and Anne (Randl) Pilz.  On Aug. 13, 1960, Jeanette was married to Lawrence Mommaerts in Green Bay.  She enjoyed spending time reading, gardening, sewing, quilting and watching the deer up north.  Time with her family was most important to Jeanette and she particularly cherished time with her grandchildren.

Jeanette will be deeply missed by her husband of over 60 years, Lawrence “Larry” Mommaerts; children, Julie (Robert) Davis, Linda (Chuck) Prust, Sandy (Michael) Fuller, Diane Weber, Brenda Mommaerts and David (Tracy) Mommaerts; grandchildren, Michael Davis, Mason Davis, Carly Prust, Lydia Prust, Kristina (Ryne) Eberle, Marissa Cavil (Michael Borremans), Nicole (Jason) Boucher, Adam Weber (Laura Potvin), Sarina Mommaerts, Katrina Mommaerts, Trevor Mommaerts, Hannah Smith and Abigail Mommaerts; great grandchildren, Norah, Natalie, Donavyn, Brielle, Ava, Mason, Amelia and Jack; siblings, Marilyn Cross, Nancy (Jim) Deacon, Tom (Chris) Pilz, and Cindy (Greg) Jameson; brother-in-law, Jack Walschinski; sisters-in-law, Lynn Pilz, Sue (Dan) LeMieux; good friend, Alice Huebscher and many other family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Jeanette is preceded in death by her daughter, Dawn Mommaerts; son-in-law, Michael Weber; siblings, Sue Walschinski, Beverly (Ray) Ridgley and Joseph Pilz; and a brother-in-law, Paul Cross.

A private service was held for Jeanette’s family.  Inurnment will be in Fort Howard Mausoleum.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.Prokowall.com.
