Myron “Mike” Peer passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 8, 2021. He was born August 18, 1936, to George and Anastasia “Nettie” Peer on the family farm in the Town of Eaton. He was the youngest of 11 brothers and sisters.

Mike graduated from Denmark High School in 1954 where he was active in the school’s FFA chapter. He worked for 47 1/2 years at Schreiber Foods as a Foreman / Area Specialist while managing the family dairy farm. Agriculture held a special place in Mike’s heart. He often attended auctions and maintained a collection of vintage tractors. Mike was a man of many talents and was an avid cook who made the best chili, booyah, salmon patties, and sloppy joes. Parties at the house were always a celebration with lots of food and libations – Na Zdrowie! Mike believed in living well which included enjoying Seroogy’s chocolates and Packer games.

Mike was blessed to have two loves in his life. He married Mary Martha Holguin July 21, 1962, in El Paso, TX.  They were married for 18 years. He was a proud father of 3 daughters Connie, Clare, and Debbie. Mike was fortunate to find another love in his life and married Lynn Nystrom August 17, 1984. Mike and Lynn made their home on a farm in the Town of Eaton. They celebrated 36 wonderful years together.

He was an active member at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Bellevue, WI and enjoyed the parish picnics. Mike was very proud of his Polish heritage and enjoyed polka music and frequently attended Polka Days in Pulaski with Lynn. Mike will always be remembered for his kind heart and loving soul. He was always willing to give a helping hand to anyone. Time spent with his family was most special to him.

Mike will be sadly missed by his wife Lynn; his three daughters, Connie (Tim) Reed, Clare (Jim) Westerman, and Debbie Peer (Jim Brinkman); three granddaughters, Shannon (Mitch) Zeise, Sarah (fiancée Quinton) Reed and Vanessa Westerman; sisters Leona Rondou, Victoria Martin.

In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his six brothers, Joseph, Benedict, Harry, John, Andrew, Chester Peer, and two sisters, Edna Broekman, Anna DuBois and his wife Mary Peer.
