Donald J. “Don” Rozmarynowski

Donald J. “Don” Rozmarynowski, 81, passed away peacefully with family by his side on July 10, 2021, after a courageous 10-year battle with cancer.  He was born in Denmark, WI on March 26, 1940, to Jerome and Henrietta (Van Ven Roy) Rozmarynowski.

Don was a graduate of Denmark High School and attended Northeast Wisconsin Technical College as part of a carpenter apprenticeship.  He was a Foreman at Immel Construction where he worked for 40 years.  Don was in the Army Reserves from 1960 to 1966. He married the love of his life, Dolores “Dolly” Danelski, and they shared 59 years together in marriage.  Don enjoyed spending time with his family, and dear friends of over 50 years, camping in Crandon, fishing in Canada, and vacationing in Door County.  Don was an avid outdoorsman who loved deer hunting, and fishing on Lake Michigan.  Also, he enjoyed following the Packers, Brewers, and took pride in creating a beautiful yard and home. Don had a great work ethic and was a perfectionist. He was a good provider and had a strong faith. Don was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who will be dearly missed.

Don is survived by his wife, Dolores; his four children, Vickie De Cleene, Terri (Tom) VanBooven, Don (Becky) Rozz, and Dan (Cathy) Rozz; his ten grandchildren, Drew, Connor, Luke, Jake, Erin, Charlie, Alya, Sam, Jane and Leo; three great grand-children, Gwen, Leah and Annie; three sisters, Betty, Rita (Tom), and Bonnie; two brothers, Bob (Joanne) and Richard (Betty).

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Mary Ann and Karen; and his brother, Ray; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Louie and Angie Danelski.

Friends may call at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 2040 Hillside Drive, on Thursday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the church with the Rev.
