Bernice M. (Mallien) (Reynen) Johnson, 106, Green Bay, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her own home on Monday, Sept. 6, 2021. She was born June 5, 1915, in Brussels, WI, to the late Martin and Elizabeth Mallien.  She graduated from Brussels High School in 1933.

Bernice married Francis Reynen in 1937 and they farmed in Bay Settlement until moving to Green Bay in 1959.  Francis preceded her in death in 1974.  In 1987, she married Alfred Johnson, who preceded her in death in 2002.  Bernice was a Charter member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church and Altar Society, also the Seton Mission Club where she helped make many quilts.  She later joined St. John the Baptist Church in Howard when she moved closer to her daughter.  Bernice enjoyed many hobbies in her life including, reading, bird watching, playing board games, any kind of card games, working on puzzles, quilting, crocheting, knitting, bingo and casino trips.

Bernice will by deeply missed by her 2 children, Ron (Norma) Reynen, De Pere, and Karen Tilque, Howard; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, Cindy (Mike) Wilson and daughters, Jamie Stephanie and Morgan; Steve (Vicki) Reynen; Dave (Korre) Reynen and daughter, Jaida; Cheri (Curt) Wainwright and son, Jonathon; Lori (Mark) Jacobs and daughters, Cassi and Sammie; Jean (Ken) VandenElzen and daughters, Taylor and Alex; Mike (Lisa) Tilque and son, Wyatt; and Pat (Sheryl) Tilque.  She is further survived by many great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; sons, Roger (Gloria) Reynen and Jim (Sally) Reynen; son-in-law, LeRoy Tilque; siblings, Ray (Irene) Mallien, Grace (Harry) Swoboda, Mable (Walter) Henquinet, Lillian (Wilmer) Robillard and Norma (Alvin) Neuville.

Visitation will be at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2597 Glendale Ave., from 1:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021, with Rev.
