Died on Sep 30, 2021 and resided in Green Bay, WI

Robert Lee “Bob” Staats, 70, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, September 30, 2021, with both of his children at his side. Bob was born in Milwaukee on September 4, 1951, the son of Ernest and Gladys (Kramer) Staats.  In his younger years, he enjoyed fishing and hunting.  Bob gave his all at Badger Wholesale for almost 40 years as the warehouse supervisor until his retirement in 2016.  On May 25, 1990, Bob married Theresa Ann “Terri” Brunner at Bridal Church and Wedding Chapel and they were married for almost 30 years. He enjoyed his time in Wabeno, going for rides on the pontoon or ATV in the summer and on the snowmobile in the winter.  Recently, he became an avid rock collector.

Bob loved collector cars, music from the 50’s and 60’s, (but his all-time favorite song was Believe by Cher), having a beer with family and friends, cheering on the Packers at the Den, and trying his luck on the gambling machines.   Bob also had a softer side, enjoying tending to his flower garden and eating the homemade sweets baked by his daughter.  He loved all animals, and will be missed by his cats, Putz and Flo.

Bob is survived by two children, Steve (Kris Dhein) Staats and Katie (Tim) Clark; a brother and sister, Larry Staats and Judy Myers; a sister-in-law, Alanna Staats; nieces and nephews and other extended family. Bob is further survived by many great friends.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife Theresa on January 4, 2020; his parents, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Sylvester and Lucille Brunner; brothers, Jimmy and Gerry Staats; a sister, Deb (Wayne) Bennett; and a brother-in-law, Steve Brunner. Bob was also preceded by many good friends.
