Eleanor I. (Tomaszewski) Kopplin, 94, Green Bay, formerly of Milwaukee, passed away at home on Monday, October 4, 2021.  She was born on June 22, 1927, to the late Joseph and Anna (Krzych) Tomaszewski.  Eleanor graduated from Crivitz High School.  After graduating, she moved to Milwaukee where she met Robert G. Kopplin, Sr. and they were married in Crivitz on February 4, 1950.  He preceded her in death on April 30, 1985.  Together, they raised four children in Milwaukee.  While living in Milwaukee, Eleanor worked at Mill Print until the birth of her first child.  She did not return to work until her last child was of school age.  After that, she worked for the Milwaukee Public Schools, starting as a lunchroom aide working her way up to Librarian, retiring in the mid 1980’s.  In 1994, Eleanor moved to Green Bay, which she made her home until her death.

She is survived by her sons, Alan (Karen) Kopplin and Perry Kopplin; daughter, Julie (Gregg) Conlon; grandchildren, Teri (AJ Doughty) Kopplin, Sarah Moore, Kristel (Jason) Seeley, Robert (Sheena Peters) Conlon, Christopher (Jessica) Kopplin, Kelsie Kopplin and Jonathan Kopplin; 11 great grandchildren; two sisters and one brother; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert Kopplin, Jr.; two sisters and three brothers.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 3425 Willow Rd., from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.  Memorial Mass 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church with Rev. Dennis Ryan officiating.  Entombment will take place 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 18, 2021 at St. Adalbert Garden Mausoleum in Milwaukee.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.prokowall.com.
