Jeffrey William Newton, 53, passed away unexpectedly on January 6, 2022, and was welcomed to heaven by his parents and sister. Jeff was born in Green Bay, WI, on September 24, 1968, to the late William and Julianne (Johnson) Newton. He was a graduate of Gillett High School, class of 1986. On October 21, 1988, Jeff married Joy Vanden Hoven; they had one son together, Jereme Newton.

Jeff was employed as a Dump Truck Driver for Carew Trucking, a job he was very passionate about. That passion was shared by a love for working on vehicles spending countless hours in his garage, sanding, painting, and wrenching. He was an avid football fan and never missed his beloved Packers. He was a permanent fixture at Grand Central Station (Shell), enjoying his morning coffee and joking with the ladies there. Jeff’s amazing sense of humor was contagious. He made friends wherever he went. His goofy comments on Facebook posts will be incredibly missed. Jeff was the type of person who would help anyone in need and his generosity and kindness did not go un-noticed. He especially loved his family and furry friends Max and Maggie; all whom meant the world to him.

Jeff will be sadly missed by his son, Jereme Newton; his forever friend, Joy Newton; three sisters, Diane (Greg) Weis, Julie (Randy) Kratz, and Pamela (John) Carew. He is further survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Jeff is joined by his parents; sister, Susan Johnson; brother, William Wayne Newton; nephew and godson, Spencer Friebel, paternal grandparents, Donald and Vallina Schneider; maternal grandparents, Peter and Lorraine Johnson and his best buddies, Bruno and Miesha.

Visitation will be held at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., Tuesday, January 11, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 6:00 p.m. Online condolences may be expressed at www.prokowall.com.
