Alice Sue (Zilles) Larscheid, 79, of Green Bay passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, surrounded by members of her family.  Alice was born in Green Bay on February 13, 1944, to the late Bernard and Lydia (Walters) Zilles and spent her childhood years growing up in a house on the bay.

Alice was a graduate of Preble High School, Class of 1962.  She was the youngest of three siblings and is preceded in death by her brother Bernard Roger Zilles and sister Sally Zilles Gagnon. Alice married Mike Larscheid and together they had five sons, Mike, Craig, John, Aaron, and Grant.  Together they lived in San Rafael, California, Snohomish, Washington, and Milwaukee, Wisconsin before moving back to Green Bay in 1982.

Alice spent her career raising her boys and it was a job she was very proud to do; her greatest pride and joy were her boys and her grandchildren. She also worked other jobs at Kroll’s, providing daycare for her grandchildren, and worked as a noon supervisor at Howe Elementary School and Langlade Elementary School. Alice loved gardening and had an amazing “green thumb”. She also was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and enjoyed watching live music.

Alice is survived by her five sons, Michael (Pam), Craig (Michelle), John, Aaron (Tara), and Grant (Brittany) Larscheid; 15 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews, other friends, and relatives.

Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason Street, on Saturday, October 7th, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The family requests friends and family wear Green Bay Packers fan gear to the funeral home to commemorate Alice’s love of the team.

Alice’s family would like to extend a special word of thanks to the staff of The Courtyard at Bellevue for their care, and to Promedica Hospice, especially Traci and Erin, for the comfort they showed Alice during her battle with Lewy Body Dementia.
