Angeline LeRoy, 86, died Monday, April 4, 2022. She was born August 27, 1935, in Luxemburg, WI to Abraham and Adele (Vandervest) Theys.

Angeline worked for many years at Moore Response Graphics, retiring in 1990. She loved to have a good time, listening to country music, having an Old Fashioned, and dinner at supper clubs.  Very proud of her Belgian heritage, Angeline loved to cook dishes for her family. Family was very important to her, and she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also a devoted Packers fan and cancer survivor.

Anyone who knew Grandma knew that she was sassy, feisty and determined. She wanted nothing more than to live life, love big and throw a hell of a party. Happiness for her was being surrounded by her family and friends.

As she said “we ain’t going to know until we try” and she tried. She fought and fought hard. There comes a point when even the toughest have to say it is “enough is enough”.

Grandma…although it’s time to say goodbye here, we know you’ll be waiting for us up there. You left us with amazing memories that we will talk about and share with others. We will carry on the Belgian pie and Booyah making traditions and remember your expertise.

Save an old-fashioned for us! Proost!

Angeline is survived by her children, Linda (Corey) Pleasants, Bruce LeRoy; her grandchildren, Shelly (Jeff) Schott, Aaron (Nicole) Pleasants, BJ (Amber) LeRoy, and Stephanie Pleasants; her great-grandchildren, Courtney Pleasants, Alyssa Pleasants, Daniel Schott, Alden Pleasants, Ava Schott, Mia LeRoy, Breleigh LeRoy, and Camden Pleasants; her brothers, Clem (MaryAnn) Theys, Joseph Theys, Francis “Tootie” (Ruth) Theys, and Abraham Theys, Jr.

She was preceded in death by her loving husbands, Alden LeRoy whom she married on May 25, 1955, and Francis Krerowicz on October 4, 2008; and infant daughter, Gail; her parents, and many brothers, sisters, relatives and friends.
