Anthony “Tony” Paul Roskoski, 62, Green Bay resident, went to heaven on Tuesday, August 23, 2022. He was born August 29, 1959, in Green Bay to the late Peter and Genevieve (Radlet) Roskoski. Tony was a 1977 graduate of Green Bay East High School. He married the former Kelly Boyer on May 16, 1981, at St. Willebrord Catholic Church. Tony was employed at Nelson Machine and Welding for 31 years until his retirement in December of 2021. He was also a woodworker selling his wood creations at numerous craft sales.

Tony lived his life the same way he faced Leukemia. With courage, honesty, compassion and he was fearless. His Doctors and Nurses were amazed by his, whatever needed to be done attitude. Everything he did, he did to the best of his ability, without complaining and always did things to please others. Tony loved tending to his gardens and sharing his knowledge and rewards. He loved the quiet of a trout stream and the trips to the cottage on Long Lake where so many memories were made.  His family always felt loved. There was never a want he would not fulfill, never needing anything back in return. There will not be one occasion that his creativity will not be missed. Tony had a knack for decorating for the fall parties, the amazing Christmas lights he hung outside to the snow castle he built so we could gather around a fire with friends and family. Not to mention the numerous notes he left in Kelly’s car, the flowers on her bike to the “I love you’s” in the snow.

Those who have wonderful memories to carry on are his wife, Kelly; their two sons, Ryan, Green Bay and Aaron, Washington DC and dog, Maddie; brothers, Ronald (Barbara), Tom and Bob (Maureen); sisters, Judy Johnson and Mary Heyrman; his mother-in-law, Connie Boyer; sister-in-law, Beth (Phil) Wadzinski; best friend since grade school, Scott Wiegand; nieces, nephews, as well as several other family members and numerous friends.

Tony will be welcomed into Heaven by his parents; sister, Nancy and brother Jim; father-in-law, Patrick Boyer, several other family members, friends and dogs, Bojo and Murphy.

Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. on Wednesday, August 31, from 4:00-7:00 pm. with a Memorial Tribute to be held at 6:30 pm. Online condolences may be sent to Tony’s family at www.prokowall.com. In lieu of floral expressions a memorial fund has been established in his name.

Tony’s family would like to thank all the family and friends who have continually prayed with us through the last ten months. We felt your prayers and without them we would not have been able to get through this long, hard, journey. Thank you to all who reached out in different ways. You are all a blessing and each one of you will never be forgotten.

Tony, I am going to cry because this part of our journey is over. However, I am going to smile because we happened and we will finish our journey in heaven. All my love, Kelly
