Arthur “Art” J. Agamaite, 82, Waukesha, passed away at his home in Waukesha on June 21, 2023, following a lengthy illness. He was born May 17, 1941, in Green Bay to the late Joseph and Arleen (Albers) Agamaite. Art was a graduate of St. Francis Xavier Cathedral Grade School, then attended Premontre High School graduating in 1959 and finished his education at Marquette University where he received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. Art married the former Julie Jacqmin on November 26, 1964, in Green Bay.
Art enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting with family and friends. He made it a mission to tease his sisters relentlessly and give his nieces and nephews loud toys as gifts. After 40 years designing roads and bridges, he and Julie retired to The Villages, FL. They enjoyed golfing, water aerobics, many other activities and traveling to Europe.
He is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Julie, of 58 years; three sons: Michael (Sara); Matthew (Ben Flaschner) and Mark; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren; three sisters: Jackie Rousseau Werner, Rossford, OH; Marge Nick and Rosie (Bob) Walczyk Sr. all of Green Bay.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Marti; daughter-in-law Kim; three brothers-in-law, Bob Rousseau, Hank Werner and Jerry Nick; other sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.

Art was a special friend to everyone, always there with a helping hand. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
