Audrey M. (DeCleene) Latus, 91, joined her husband Wally Thursday, February 23, 2023, in her heavenly reward.  She was born January 4, 1932, in Green Bay to John and Viola (Binon) DeCleene.  Audrey attended St. Willebrord Catholic Grade School and St. Matthew’s before graduating from St. Joseph Academy.  St. Willebrord remained an important part of her life.

Audrey married the love of her life, Walter Latus, on August 4, 1951, at St. Matthew Catholic Church.  They raised five children and enjoyed time spent on the water with Wally fishing.  The two were married for almost 68 years before he preceded her in death on July 18, 2018.

She enjoyed horses as a young woman and even rode her horse to school. In her later years she enjoyed gardening and spending time with the family.  Audrey loved to shop, and if necessary, loved the return department.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Steve and Debbie Latus and their children, Matthew Latus and Carrie (Ryan) Hager; Marcia and Randy Jauquet and their daughter, Kristine (Jordan) Miller; Rebecca and Don Steck; Paul and Amy Latus and their children, Kirk Latus, Kayla (Patrick) Kennedy; Laurie and Dennis Leist and her children Stephanie (Neil) Sticka and Andrew Mineau; 11 great-grandchildren; her sister, Pat Ziefle; a brother-in-law, Ron Fisher; a sister-in-law, Marcella DeCleene; nieces and nephews.

In addition to her beloved Wally and her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Nona Fisher, Eben DeCleene, Louis (Betty) DeCleene, Joan DeCleene, and Joyce (Tom) Klaus; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jerry Ziefle, LaVerne (Theodore) Nielsen, Glen Latus, Ruby (Louis) Walinski, Rita (Leo) Hunt, and Claudia (Bob) Vandeveld.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 4th, at St. Willebrord Catholic Church, 209 S. Adams St.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church with Father Andrew Cribben O. Praem. officiating.  Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery in De Pere.  To send online condolences visit www.prokowall.com.
