Barbara Beyer

Barbara M. (Van Lanen) Beyer, 75, Green Bay, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2020.  She was born on Oct. 23, 1945, in Green Bay to the late Orville and Irene (VandenHouten) Van Lanen.  Barb was married to Peter Beyer at Holy Cross Catholic Church, sharing 56 beautiful years together.  She was a current member of St. Kilian Catholic Church.  Her work as a CNA for Sisters of St. Francis and family members was very important to her and she cherished gatherings with Champion Pacesetters HCE,  playing cards and particularly time spent with her grandchildren.

Barb will be missed by her husband, Peter; children, Chris (Debra) Beyer, Lisa (Scott) Gruselle, Peter Beyer; four grandchildren, Stephen, Tyler and Cody Gruselle and Roxanne (Chris) Reindl; siblings, Milton (Jean) Van Lanen, Shirley Huxford, Sandie (Paul) Dorner, David Van Lanen, Mike (Patti) Van Lanen, Lori (Al) Beyer; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Earl Martin, Donald (Kathy) Beyer and David (Linda) Beyer; and many other family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Barb is preceded in death by her son, Todd; siblings, Thomas Van Lanen, Rodney Van Lanen and Theresa Van Lanen; parents-in-law, Pete and Rose Beyer; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Eleanor Martin, Bernadine (Edward) Decker, Beatrice (Donald) Salentine, Gerald Beyer, Richard Beyer and Rose Beyer.

Visitation will be at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., on Monday, November 9, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:45 p.m. with Pat Ratajczyk officiating the Wake Service at 6:00 p.m.  A private Funeral Mass will be open to Barb’s family at a later date.  Entombment will be in Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.Prokowall.com.
