Barbara J. (Bultman) Simons, 87, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023.

She was born on February 18, 1936, in Green Bay to Norman and Sibylla “Billie” Bultman.  Barb remained extremely close with her Mother throughout her life.

She was a 1954 graduate of St. Joseph Academy.  On February 26, 1965, she married Patrick D. Simons at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, her home parish. Patrick preceded her in death on July 25, 2019.

Barb had a passion for life and exploration.  She loved to travel and loved to cook.  She always laughed with family and friends. She never was shy on telling you her thoughts or feelings . Worked as a dental  assistant and office manager for Dr. Sinkler, Dr.Thornly, and Dr. Hein,  where she was passionate about staff and patients.  She cherished her friends, Birthday group and volunteering for the Antiquarian Society.

She is survived by her two sons and a daughter-in-law, Chris and Tony and Shavonne, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-laws, Larry and Sue Simons and Karen Meador; and Nancy Bultman Careufel, other relatives and many friends.

In addition to her husband and her parents, Barb was preceded in death by a brother Tom Bultman; a sister-in-law, Sr. Judy Simons; and her parents-in-law, Donald Simons, Lauretta Simons and Agnes Simons.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 6, 2023, at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 2040 Hillside Lane, from 9:00 to 10:50 a.m.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday at St Bernard’s Catholic Church with Rev. Adam Bradley officiating. She will be laid to rest in Allouez Catholic Cemetery.  Proko-Wall Funeral Home is assisting the family and online condolences may be expressed at www.prokowall.com.  In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund has been established.
