Bonnie Dahin

Bonita Susan “Bonnie” (Vanden Langenberg) Dahin, 77, passed away unexpectedly at Aurora Baycare Hospital on November 4, 2023.  She was born June 15, 1946, in Green Bay to Raymond and Violet Vanden Langenberg.  Bonnie graduated from Preble High School in 1964 and from Wisconsin School of Cosmetology.  She briefly styled hair at DeLons Salon before assisting women in the wig department at HC Prange Company.  Bonnie moved to Monroe, WI in 1969, and returned to Green Bay in 1983.  She finished her working career at Konop Vending and Heritage Foods.  On August 19, 2000, she married Jim Dahin.  Her beloved Jim preceded her in death in 2006.

She is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Jerry Metzler; nephews Andy Metzler (Angie) and Michael (Shannon) Metzler; a niece-in-law, Christine Metzler; great-nephews and great-nieces, Peter (Kasey), Katie, Christian, Trevor, Miranda, Nick and Natalie Metzler; other family members, friends and neighbors.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a nephew Kurt and her furbaby Max.

Private Services were held at Allouez Catholic Cemetery for immediate family per Bonnie’s wishes.  Proko-Wall Funeral Home assisted the family and online condolences may be expressed at www.prokowall.com.
