Brenda Therese Johnson
Brenda Therese Johnson, 72, died Sunday, December 26, 2021. She was born February 15, 1949, in Green Bay to Francis “Blondie” and Bernice (Kaufman) Boucher.
Brenda attended the Wisconsin College of Cosmetology and was licensed in Cosmetology by the State of Wisconsin. She earned an Associate Degree from Fox Valley Technical College and was certified as a Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor. For twenty years Brenda worked as an AODA counselor at Maehnowesekiyah Wellness Center on the Menominee Reservation. Brenda was recognized by the Executive Presbyter of the General Counsel of the Assemblies of God as a Minister of the Gospel. On July 13, 1968, she married Brian F. Johnson at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Brenda was a member of Destiny Church in De Pere.
Brenda is survived by her husband of 54 years, Brian; her children, Jennifer (Thomas) Thompson, Kevin (Maggie) Johnson, Samuel (Rosa) Johnson, and Alyssa (Curtis) Campbell; her grandchildren, Abigail, Zachary, and Samuel Thompson, Sophie Johnson, Layla Johnson, (and Brenda Johnson on the way), AB, Jonas, and Deacon Campbell; a brother, Keith (Andrea) Boucher; sisters, Sheri (Gordon) Dittmer and Nancy Staszak, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call at Destiny Church, 411 Destiny Drive, De Pere, on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. Thursday at the church with Pastor Kirk Gerbers officiating. On-line condolences may be given at www.proko-wall.com.
