Carla Langenberg

Carla M. Langenberg, 82, Green Bay resident, died Saturday, December 10, 2022, at a local hospital following complications of Dementia. She was born February 3, 1940, in Green Bay to the late Herman and Dorothy (Besanson) Burkard. Carla was a 1958 graduate of Green Bay East High School.

She married Edwin Langenberg on June 6, 1959, at St. Willebrord Catholic Church. Carla worked at her dream job with the Lullabye Shop for over 20 years until her retirement. She had a passion for crafting even starting a business named “Carla’s Creations” selling her creations at craft shows. Carla loved her family dearly and was proud to be a homemaker where everyone was always welcome. She was a long-time member of St. Bernard Parish.

Carla is survived by her husband Ed and their two children, Brian Langenberg and Vicki (Randy) Zak; four grandchildren: Ksawery and Emma Langenberg and Marshall and Chandler Zak; three sisters-in-law: Sharron Wood; Sandra (Jim) Weber and Susan (David) Larson; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Curtis Wood and her in-laws, Edward and Thelma Langenberg.

Friends may call at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 2040 Hillside Lane on Saturday, December 17 from 9:00-11:15 am. Funeral Mass 11:30 am Saturday at the church with Rev. Mark VanderSteeg officiating.
