Carmon Richardson

Carmon Lee Richardson, 80, passed away on Wednesday morning, August 9, 2023, with her family by her side after a challenging journey with ALS.  She was born on February 20, 1943, in Green Bay to the late Harvey and Aloyus (Krouth) Counard.  On April 24, 1964, she married John Richardson, and they shared 44 years of love, family and great times together.  He preceded her in death on October 28, 2008.  Carmon “Mrs. Richardson” recognized by past students at Green Bay Preble and Edison Middle School, held positions as computer lab monitor and office assistant.  She retired after 35 and a half years of employment with the Green Bay Area School District.  Carmon enjoyed spending time with her family at the cottage in Crivitz for 48 years.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren there, whether it be fishing, grabbing ice cream or sitting by the fire.  Carmon liked to crochet, bake, play Yahtzee and family time.  Her family always looked forward to eating her peanut butter clusters.  Carmon cherished the last three years with her constant pet companion, Riley.  She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister.

She is survived by her children, Michelle (Chuck) Barnowsky, Wayne (Sue) Richardson, Brenda (Tim) Rozmiarek and Scott (Laurie) Richardson; grandchildren, Kyle (Allysia) Schneeberger, Nick Richardson, Megan Richardson, Anna Richardson, Stephen Rozmiarek, Joey Rozmiarek, Alex (fiancée, Amy Jeranek) Richardson and Zach Richardson; great grandchildren, McKenzie, Kenidy, Johnny, Lucy and Bradley Schneeberger; siblings, Gail Quintanilla, JoAnn (Jim) Winnekins, Patti O’Leary, Joann (Bob) Gerstner, Mike (Lisa) O’Leary and Bob (Lisa) O’Leary; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ronald (Patti) Richardson and Carol O’Leary; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Ken Schneeberger; siblings, Edwin O’Leary, Christine O’Leary, Sharon Orde and Bonnie Tassoul and her children, Shane and Steven; and brothers-in-law, Donald Richardson, Bill Orde, and Ernie Quintanilla.

Visitation will be held at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Parish wake service 7:00 p.m.  Visitation will continue on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 3425 Willow Rd., from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass.  Funeral Mass 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the church with Rev. Dennis Ryan officiating.  Entombment will take place at the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum. Online condolences may be expressed at www.prokowall.com.
