Carole Suzanne (DeMoe) Haskins Vanden Langenberg

Carole Suzanne (DeMoe) Haskins Vanden Langenberg, 88, passed away on June 6, 2021. She was born in Milwaukee on November 6, 1932, to the late Roy and Margaret (Melk) DeMoe. She was a graduate of Green Bay East and passed the A-50 Library Science Courses. Carole was employed with the Wisconsin Telephone Co. and Travelers Insurance, but her passion was the 17 years spent with the Brown County Library in Green Bay, where she was instrumental in organizing the union. Carole was an accomplished Genealogist compiling family history back to 300 A.D. Carole was an oil painter winning many awards in her life and was a lifelong lover of books. She was a member of National Society DAR-Jean Nicolet Chapter, the National Society of Women’s Descendants of the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company, National Society of Colonial Dames 17th Century, National Society Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War, and the National Society U.S. Daughters of 1812.

Carole will be sadly missed by her husband of 37 years, Arnold “Arnie” Vanden Langenberg; children, Lori Haskins, Michael Haskins, and Mark S. (Deanna) Haskins; grandchildren, Logan King, Kelly (Steven) Verdibello, Kimberly (Sam) Howard, Nicole (Matt) Howe, Ryan (Olivia) Laberdee; four great grandchildren, Kayleigh and Kyle Hall, Khloe and Kammy Howard; step-children, Michael (Vicky) Vanden Langenberg, Douglas Vanden Langenberg, and Gary (Jackie) Vanden Langenberg, Steve ( fiancé Lilia) Vanden Langenberg; step grandchildren, Kyle (Emily) Vanden Langenberg, Jacob Vanden Langenberg, Chad (Danielle) Vanden Langenberg, Jennifer Vanden Langenberg, Brandon Collier, Trina (Scott) Hayden, Shelly (Aaron) Insko, Stephanie (Chris) Laird, Alyssa Vanden Langenberg. She is further survived by many other family and friends too numerous to count.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Robert Haskins.

Memorial Service will be held at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Paul DeMuth officiating followed by visitation until 1:00 p.m. Online condolences may be expressed at www.prokowall.com. Inurnment will be at Allouez Chapel Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers and other expressions of sympathy the family asks that the public make donation, to the Alzheimer’s Association, 3313 Packerland Dr. East, De Pere, WI 54115, in honor of Carole.

The family extends their sincere gratitude and appreciation for the staff at Woodside Nursing home for all their care and kindness to Carole and her family.
