Celia was born in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, on November 16, 1966. She was preceded in death by her parents Maria Elena Narvaez and Pedro Martinez. She is survived by her daughter Abigail Rivera-Martinez, grandchild, Gabriella Martinez, her brothers, Juan Manuel Martinez, Ramiro N. Martinez, Francisco Martinez, and Roberto Martinez, countless friends. Celia lived a life of love and service to God, her church, and community. Devout in her faith, she consistently demonstrated both strong personal faith and acceptance of others. “THE TRUTH OF THE MATTER IS”, the first in her family to ensure her family was saved and lived for Jesus. Relentless advocate, fierce protector, guide, and mentor on important life lessons, she encouraged and motivated those around her to fulfill their potential. She was the ultimate servant and touched many lives. She never shed away from the belief of a living God. Celia was a person of influence and impact to changing the world day by day. Celia did not want a public viewing; however, a time for family and friends to gather and remember her will be held on November 5, 2021from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Proko-Wall Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc.
