Claude Costillo Campos, 82, passed away Monday, July 26, 2021. He was born September 9, 1938, in Chicago, IL to Sirilo and Anna Campos.

Claude served proudly in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1958 to 1961. After his time in the service, Claude met Vivian Boehm in Chicago and they married on November 17, 1962. He worked on computers for many years.  Claude worked for Control Data Corporation in Chicago, and later for Decision One until his retirement in 2005. Following retirement Claude stayed busy by working at Walmart and participated in the 2020 Census. He was a dedicated Chicago Bears fan. On his 80th birthday, Claude attended a Packers/Bears game at Lambeau Field with his son Barry. He will be remembered as a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and was very close to his siblings.

Claude is survived by his wife, Vivian; his three sons, Barry (Jackie) Campos, Brock (Deisy) Campos, Blake (Serena) Campos; his grandchildren, Amanda (Aaron), Ashlee (Spencer), Aubri (friend Andrew), Brock “Brockito”, Jr., Jayden, Jenna, Consuelo (Angel), and Louis; great-grandchildren, Cameron, Carson, Bobby, Maci, Leanna, and Kinslee; his siblings, Rachel Pryzbylo, Delfina (Sam) Kuiken, Robert (Donna) Campos, Lorraine (David) Proffitt; brothers-in-law, August (Gerri) Boehm, Jack O’Toole, Duane Weisenhaus; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Millie Weisenhaus and Gloria O’Toole; a brother, Samuel Campos; sisters-in-law, Caroline (Joe) Kubat, Harriet (Parke) Filley, Stella Campos; a brother-in-law, Joe Pryzbylo; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, August and Caroline Boehm.

Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason Street, on Saturday from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. The Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. On-line condolences may be given at www.prokowall.com.
