It is with great sadness that the family of Daniel Prigge announces his passing, after a long battle from injuries sustained while serving in Iraq, on Sunday, March 29, 2020, at 31 years of age. Daniel will be lovingly remembered by his wife of twelve years, Annabell Prigge, who fought right along his side during his recovery. Daniel will also be fondly remembered by his parents David and Lottie Prigge; brother and sister in-law, David and Kaci Prigge; sister and brother in-law, Stacy and Dean Hopf; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bryan Layton and Sabine Layton-Vincze; and his nieces, nephews, and goddaughter.

Daniel’s funeral will be held at the Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors at a later date. A memorial page will be created in honor of Daniel, who served for his country as an Army Ranger and was injured in Iraq back in 2011. Daniel was awarded two Purple Hearts for his heroic actions and will always be remembered for the sacrifice he as given to our country. Daniel will always and forever be remembered in our hearts.
