Darlene Oudenhoven

Darlene Jean (Hansen) Oudenhoven, 87, passed away peacefully Monday, November 28, 2022, surrounded by her devoted family who had lovingly cared for their mother during her battle with cancer over the past several years. She was born July 1, 1935, to the late Chester and Minnie (Kuske) Hansen.  Darlene graduated from West High School in 1953.  On October 24, 1953, she married Clarence G. Oudenhoven.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who always put others first, especially her family.  After Clarence retired, the couple moved to Pembine, returning to Green Bay in 2016.

She is survived by her four children and their spouses, Cheryl and Dave Alberts, MaryKay and Tim Marquart, Keith and Wendy Oudenhoven, Todd and Rachelle Oudenhoven; a daughter-in-law, Lisa Oudenhoven; 15 grandchildren, SGM Jesse (Tommy) Oudenhoven, Lesa Maus (Scott), Jenna (Nick) DeNoble, Heather Rezek (Bryan) , Holly (Chad) Stone, Heidi (Mike) Basten, Harmony (Mitch) Ducat, Holly (Jeremy) Maus, Jeremy Alberts (Michelle), Dr. Jamie (Amanda) Van Den Elzen, Dr. Kayla Marquart (Charles), Gavin (Kara) Marquart, Kyle Oudenhoven (Meghan), Kody (Brooke) Oudenhoven, Josh Hansen; 24 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law, Arlene  Zimmerman, Agnes Campbell, Jim and Rita Oudenhoven, and  Gloria Oudenhoven; her brother Wally’s daughters, Laurie (Kelly) Irish and Lisa (Tom) Shallow; Wally’s daughters-in-law, Doreen Hansen and Jean Hansen; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence on January 5, 2019, two sons, Mark as a toddler on April 13, 1960, and Mike Oudenhoven on October 11, 2020; a brother, Wally (Ann) Hansen and his three children, Steve, Randy and Beverly Hansen; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Delia Oudenhoven; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Norbert Oudenhoven, Ted and Elaine Oudenhoven, Anne Marie and Ezra Lasecki and Bruce Campbell.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:50 a.m. Saturday at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 3425 Willow Road.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church.  Entombment will be at Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.  Proko-Wall Funeral Home is assisting the family and online condolences may be sent to www.prokowall.com.  A memorial fund has been established for the American Cancer Society.
