David W. Kelly, 77, Abrams resident, passed away on Thursday evening, May 18, 2023. He was born on November 23, 1945, in Brussels to the late Raymond and Loretta (Nelson) Kelly. David was a graduate of White Lake High School. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1963, serving in Vietnam as a sharpshooter. David was honorably discharged in 1967. He worked for the United States Postal Service in the maintenance department for many years until his retirement. David was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast. He enjoyed watching Packers games and going hunting.
He is survived by his sisters, Geraldine Joslin, Madeline Turner and Jean Bates. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ray; sisters, Pauline (Jack) Criel, Evelyn “Dolly” (Donald) Romagnoli and Eunice (Chester) Zimmerman.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service. Funeral service 5:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with full military honors to follow. Entombment will take place in the Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.
