Dennis Patrick Powers, 76, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2022, He was born in Green Bay, WI, on March 24, 1946, to Patrick and Mickey Powers. The first-born son with 8 siblings. Although faced with many health issues, he always had a smile and a joke for his caregivers and those he loved. He graduated from Pulaski High School with the class of 1964 and attended UW-Madison. After high school he worked at Peplinski Hardware. He loved socializing at the Highview, eating at Big Boy and dancing the polka. He also enjoyed playing cards, cats, eating out, pizza parties, collecting art, collecting coins, and tending his house plants. He retired from Georgia Pacific.
He is survived by his sisters, Maureen (Jim) Drunasky, Peg Powers, Molly LaRock; brothers, Duane Powers, Mark (Michelle) Powers, Pat (Kathy) Powers and his sister-in-law, Michong Powers. He is further survived by his nieces and nephews, Stephanie Vine, Miranda Hampton, Nick Drunasky, Jay Drunasky, Shawn Powers, Dean Powers, Russ LaRock, Willy LaRock, Brandon Powers, Terry Powers, and their children.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents Pat and Mickey Powers; grandparents, Bill and Minnie Powers and Fred (Eva) Huben; brothers, Terry Powers and David Powers; brother-in-law, Bob LaRock and sister-in-law, LuAnn Matuszak.
Per Dennis’s wishes there will be no funeral service. Interment at Fort Howard Mausoleum.
