Doris M. “Dori” De Cleene, 88, Green Bay resident, went to be with the Lord and the love of her life, Don on Wednesday morning, November 15, 2023. She was born on September 8, 1935, in Green Bay to the late Clifford and Margaret (Mollet) Anderson. Dori graduated from Green Bay West High School in 1953. She married Donald De Cleene on September 7, 1957, at St. Agnes Catholic Church. Don preceded her in death on April 29, 2022.

Dori and Don were certainly meant for each other. Most things they did together, whether it was taking a trip, bowling, church, or their favorite, attending and cheering on their grandchildren’s sporting events. They could be seen at most of the UWGB women’s basketball games as they were season ticket holders. Dori and Don always looked forward to the annual Montana trip with the Brakebushes. They also liked to go up north, spending time in the woods. She was an active member of Prince of Peace Parish, especially enjoying working at the church picnic. Dori always had a smile on her face for her grandchildren and always showed her love for each and every one of them.

She is survived by four children: Michael (Jeanine Edwards) De Cleene, Julie (Dave) Giese, Craig (Michelle) De Cleene and Mark (Susan) De Cleene; grandchildren: Marshall (Jenna) De Cleene, Jeff, Brian and Kevin Vande Hei; Nelson (Racheal), Hayden, Isabella, Gavin and Gabrielle De Cleene, Dante, Sawyer, Gunnar and Samara De Cleene; great grandchildren, Rianna, McCoy and Adalynn; two sisters-in-law, Pat Anderson and Patti Anderson; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Bob and Dave Anderson and sister-in-law, Delores “Dee” (Ed) Bedore.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 3425 Willow Rd., from 9:30 am -11:15 am. Funeral Mass 11:30 am Tuesday at the church with Rev.
