Dr. Stephanie Lynn Cornette died as a result of an accident on Friday, September 8, 2023, in Chicago, IL. Stephanie was born to Steve and Lynn Cornette on April 11, 1976, in Green Bay, WI.
Stephanie was a graduate of Notre Dame Academy (1995) and Creighton University (1999). It was during her time at Creighton University that Stephanie knew she wanted to help people. She continued her education at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology and received her PHD in 2008. She used her amazing ability to connect with children as a psychologist for the juvenile court system in Cook County. After almost 10 years serving as their child psychologist, Stephanie opened her own private practice and worked with individuals of all ages. Her patients were so very important to her, and she would be available to them 24/7.
Stephanie is survived by her parents, Steve and Lynn Cornette; sisters, Emily (John) D’Angelo and Maria (Brian) Johnson; and her nephews and nieces that she absolutely adored, Dominic and Evelyn D’Angelo and Noelle and Caleb Johnson. She loved those kids like they were her own.
Stephanie will be remembered for her caring ways, infectious laugh, and her wonderful hugs. She dedicated her life to helping others and the world was a better place because of her.
