Edmund “Eddie” Faust, Jr., 94, of Plant City, Florida, died January 27, 2022. He was born in 1927, in Waterloo, Iowa to the late Eddie Faust, Sr. and Myrta Grace Bromell.

Eddie graduated from high school early at the age of 17 and enlisted in the U.S. Navy during World War II. When he got out of the Navy, he worked for the Illinois Central Railroad. In 1949, he married Donna Beebe and together they had four children. He later left the railroad and purchased three semi-trucks and began hauling John Deere Tractors. In 1958, he started working as a salesman for a Pontiac dealership while still operating his semi-trucks with other drivers. In 1968, he moved his family to Green Bay and built his own business, American Auto Transmissions. In 1974, he remarried and raised six more step-children. In 1985, he sold his business and moved to Florida to retire. While there he bought into a partnership in a RV business, and afterwards he began driving school buses for Hillsborough County until he retired at the age of 88.

Eddie is survived by his children, Pam (Tom) Shcaus, Green Bay, Eddie (Lori) Faust, Green Bay, Dani (Cliff) Mishler, Cedar Falls, Iowa, Shelley (Carr) Hubbard, Iowa; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
