Esther Bellmore

Esther A Bellmore, 87, passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 19, 2022, with her family by her side. She was born January 4, 1935, in Kronenwetter, Wisconsin to the late Arnold and Mary Berndt.

Esther was a graduate of Kingsford High School, Class of 1953 and on May 15, 1954, Esther married Clarence “Buzz” Bellmore at Harmony Church in Harmony, WI. 

Esther worked alongside Buzz with their business Bellmore Construction, Inc. until they both retired. She enjoyed volunteering for Meals-on-Wheels, was an avid reader and bowler, taught Sunday school and worked for the church office. She was a Cub Scout and Brownie troop leader and enjoyed travel and camping with her family. Buzz and Esther also frequently enjoyed a robust card game of Liverpool Rummy with their friends.

Esther cherished her relationship and spending time with her sister and best friend, Helen Beyer. She especially enjoyed visiting with her nephew and his wife Gary and Bonnie Beyer.  Esther also loved her Bichon puppy Shadow. The family wants to offer a special thank you to her closest neighbors for being so helpful and a compassionate part of her life. 

Esther is survived by her children, Debra (Davin) Enigl, Hanahan, SC, Steven (Denise) Bellmore, Green Bay, Amy (Lance) Sawyer, Oshkosh; seven grandchildren, Beau Bellmore, Deidre Bellmore, Olivia Deprey, Haley Deprey (Spencer Kuehl), Chad Sawyer, Ashlee (Scott) Cammack, Chantz Sawyer; four great-grandchildren, Declan Kolstad, Brielle Cammack, Tenley Cammack, Paisley Cammack; her brothers-in-law, Calvin Bellmore, Wallace Bellmore; and sister-in-law Beverly (Donald) Hoagland; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her sisters and brothers, other family and friends. 

By her family’s wishes private services will be held on Monday January 24, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. The services will be live-streamed and can be viewed by going to Proko-Wall Funeral Home’s Facebook page.
