Evelyn D. Paulson, 98, was called home to the loving arms of the Lord on Thursday, March 4, 2021. She was born May 16, 1922, in Green Bay to Julius and Minnie (Kuske) Stone.

Evelyn was a graduate of Green Bay East High School, Class of 1940. Shortly after she married John Pagenkopf who preceded her in death in 1981. Evelyn later married Roy Paulsen who preceded her in death on August 14, 2009. Together Evelyn and John owned and operated Edgewater Beach Club for 26 years until John’s death. Afterwards, Evelyn worked as a receptionist for Curative Connections and for the Salvation Army Store until Roy became ill. Evelyn served as a Sunday School teacher at Grace Lutheran Church. She will be remembered as a Packers fan, an avid follower of Wheel of Fortune, and as a spirited, personable, fashionable lady who was thoughtful, giving, and generous.

Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Bonnie (Pagenkopf) Zettle; her daughter-in-law, Laurie Pagenkopf; her grandchildren, Mark (Therese) Evrard, John (Page) Zettle, Amy Pagenkopf, Sammi Pagenkopf; her step-grandchildren, Rachelle Hermans, Jesse (Billie) Hermans; her great-grandchildren, Jessica (Adam) Faltersak, Michael Everard, Adam Everard, Royce Everard, Scarlett and Hazel Pagenkopf, and Amber and Zachary Zettle; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Paul Pagenkopf; her grandson, Michael T. Everard; her husbands, John Pagenkopf, Roy Paulson; her parents; and many brother and sisters.

Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason Street, on Tuesday from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.  The funeral service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev.
