Evelyn T. Peer, 91, Langes Corners resident, died unexpectedly Saturday, November 28, 2020, at a local hospital. She was born April 8, 1929, in Kaukauna to the late Peter and Josephine (DeWilde) Micke. Evelyn attended Kaukauna High School and married Benedict “Benny” Peer on June 28, 1947, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Kaukauna. He preceded her in death on June 4, 2009. Following her marriage to Benny they moved to the Town of Eaton where they started their family.

 Evelyn was employed by St. Vincent Hospital for over 25 years until her retirement. She especially enjoyed working in the Genesis Center taking care of the newborn babies and their parents. She was always fond of Mickey Mouse and belonged to the Mickey Mouse Club, which meant playing cards with sisters. Evelyn loved baking and cooking and enjoyed many trips with Benny over the years. Following the death of her husband she continued traveling with her son Bob. Evelyn always enjoyed going up north to the cabin with family and friends. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Evelyn was a member of Prince of Peace Parish.

 She is survived by six children: Nancy (Gary) Blavat, Green Bay; Thomas (Pat), Shawano; David (Verna), Luxemburg; Robert, Langes Corners; Benedict Jr. (Lynne), Town of Eaton and Gregory (Cherry), Green Bay; daughter-in-law, Mary Peer, Green Bay 12 special grandchildren: Sherry (Dan), Michelle (Rich), Stacy (Kyle), Stephanie (Mike), Jamie, Kathryn, Michael (Jaclyn), Tammy, William, Tracy, Sheila, Sarah and Peter; grandson-in-law, Kenny Charles; great grandchildren: Karissa, Luci, Rubi, Lincoln, Olympia, Emily, Abby, Chloe, Carter, Cameron, Raelyn, Novalyn and Alexis; two sisters, Rosie Johnson and Joanne Verkuilen; one brother and three sisters-in-law: Kenneth (Carol) Micke, Joyce Micke and Marie Micke; many nieces and nephews.  

 She was preceded in death by two sons, Michael and Ronald; granddaughter, Jennifer Peer Charles; infant brother, Lawrence Micke; three sisters: Martha (George) Derecks; Stephanna (Gordy) Zeisemer and Lorranie (Ervin) Stebane; three brothers: Harold (Judi); Peter and Clarence; two brothers-in-law, Ozzie Johnson and Don Verkuilen.

 Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. on Wednesday from 5:00-7:00 pm. The evening will close with a prayer service at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Thursday at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 3425 Willow Rd, after 9:30 am until time of Mass. Funeral Mass 11:00 am Thursday at the church with Rev.
