Francis “Frank” Vickman, 76, Town of Eaton resident, died Sunday, May 8, 2022, at his home following a brief illness. He was born November 24, 1945, in Sugarbush to the late David Vickman and Mayme (Rabas Vickman) Jossart. Frank was a 1963 graduate of Luxemburg High School.  Following high school Frank served in the US Naval Reserves until his discharge in 1964. He married the former Judy Fontaine on August 31, 1968, at Holy Martyrs of Gorcum Catholic Church.

Frank was employed in the construction business his entire life and for the last 18 years at Five Star Trucking, a job he truly enjoyed. He had a passion for the races at Luxemburg and won the Sport Truck Champion race in 1998. Frank always looked forward to the annual deer hunt, even though the last few years were without his gun. Dinner out at a local supper club was a regular thing as was the steak he ordered. He enjoyed numerous card games, but the best games were when he beat his grandchildren and collected their quarters. Frank was an avid Packer fan and a member of Prince of Peace Parish.

He is survived by his wife Judy and their four children: Lynn (Rick) DeGroot and Lori (Louie) Zellner, all of Luxemburg; Pattie (Kurt) Post, Kewaunee and David (Hope) Vickman, Neenah; ten grandchildren: Callie and Adam DeGroot; Kyle (Karissa) Buresh; Brady Zellner and special friend, Shelby Fields; Ethan Zellner and special friend, Brooklyn Derricks; Adrienne, Owen and Eyan Post; Seth and Page Vickman; two great grandchildren, Meila Toyama and Layla Buresh; three sisters: Carol (Roland) Ropson; Marion Kratz and Lois Thompson; one brother, William Jossart; six sisters-in-law: Carol Schmidt; Jan Fontaine; Marlene (Donald) Spice; Christine Fontaine; Debbie (Dave) Matzke and Sandy (Dennis) Kaster, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his step-father, Alvin Jossart; in-laws, Arnold and Margaret Fontaine; brothers-in-law, LeRoy Schmidt, Dave Thompson and Donald Kratz.
