George Ott

George Ott, 91, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2020. He was born March 6, 1928, in Yugoslavia to the late George and Regina Ott. George immigrated to the United States in 1955 with his family. George had a great work ethic and worked hard all his life. He owned two houses that he was very proud of. George became a citizen in 1970. He worked for the Lakewood School Board and was a hobby farmer for some time after he moved to WI. George worked for Pranges H.C. Company and Younkers as an Electrician before his retirement. George enjoyed fishing and loved to cook. George especially loved his travels to Cleveland to visit family and always cherished his time with his family. 

He is survived by his children, George (Siri) Ott, Sue (Dave) Mellinger, Frank Ott, and Jennifer (Jeremy) Doucette; grandchildren include, Mark (Jackie) Seifreit, Georgia (James) Gordon, Sara (Dennis) Nichols, Kim (Devon) Wood, Katherine ( Mike) Kaluzny, David (Erin) Mellinger, Tyler, Andrew and Henry Doucette. He is further survived by his 15 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents George was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Ott and his daughter, Regina Taylor.

Visitation will be at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., on Saturday, February 22, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Chaplain Robert Nooker will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.prokowall.com
