Glen Waubano

Glen Waubano, 75, passed away peacefully at his home on June 30, 2023, after a battle with cancer.  He was born May 2, 1948, to Joseph and Vernie (Quinney) Soman.  Glen married Frances Pamonicutt and the couple had three sons together: Joseph Pamonicutt, Glen Waubano Jr. and Paul Waubano.  He later married Iris Sturdevant who preceded him in death in 2007.

Glen had been a long-time employee of the Menominee Tribal Enterprises Lumber Mill.  He enjoyed country music, watching wrestling, hunting and fishing.  He will be remembered as a caring man who took a lot of pride in what he did and for his infectious sense of humor.

He is survived by his son, Joseph Pamonicutt, a grandson, Glen Waubano II, a niece Sharon Waubano, nephew, Mike Little, special friends, Darryl and Maureen, many other relatives and friends.

In addition to Iris, he was preceded in death by two sons, Glen and Paul Waubano, many brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be held at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 11th.  He will be laid to rest in Red Springs Cemetery near family.
