Harvey Jorgensen, 86, passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021. He was born June 10, 1934 in Two Creeks, WI, to the late Lloyd and Marcella (Hanek) Jorgensen. Harvey attended Mishicot High School, graduating in 1952. After high school he worked at Dvorak Motors in Kewaunee, WI. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1956 and served in Idar-Oberstein, Germany until 1958. On June 20, 1959 he married LaVerne Duckart at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Tisch Mills. He is currently a member at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Following his marriage, he was employed with Tielen’s Chevrolet Garage in Casco, WI, and retired from Jones Transfer in 2008 after 48 years of service.

Harvey and LaVerne enjoyed dancing and were members of Happy Hoppers Dance Club for many years. Harvey also enjoyed traveling with his wife to many destinations including Hawaii, Alaska, and a trip to Europe. If there was a card game, Harvey was in; he always loved a good card game. Though, his greatest joy and comfort was being around or with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Harvey will be sadly missed by his two children, Debbie (Bruce) Kellerman, Jeff (Jean) Jorgensen; three grandchildren, Katelyn Kellerman, Nick (Kate) Jorgensen and Alex Jorgensen; one great-grandson, Jace Jorgensen; four brothers and one sister, Lloyd Jr. Jorgensen, Alvin (Carol) Jorgensen, Allen (Diane) Jorgensen, Sidney (Judy) Jorgensen and Sandra (Glen) Gigstead. Harvey is further survived by LaVerne’s family including many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Harvey was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 51 years, LaVerne; sister, Nancy (Frank) Gehrke; a brother, Hilbert (Rosemary) Jorgensen and a sister-in-law, Janice Jorgensen.
