Henry “Hank” Mitchell
Henry R. “Hank” Mitchell, 85, of Bellevue, passed away on Monday, Oct. 11, 2021. He was born March 26, 1936, in Wausaukee to the late Seigel and Emma Marie (Steinbrecher) Mitchell. Hank was a graduate of Wausaukee High School, Class of ‘54. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1956 to 1960. On August 17, 1985, he married Sun Cha in Green Bay. She preceded him in death on Nov. 8, 2016. Hank was proud of his work at Tandy Leather Co. retiring as a store manager in 1997, after over 30 years of service. He loved watching the Packers with his wife, playing cards, and trips to the YMCA and casino.
Hank will be missed by his daughter, Jean Mitchell; step daughter, Allison Zittlow; grandson, Jeffrey Harri; two step grandchildren, Logan and Madison Chilcote; and many other family and friends.
In addition to his wife and parents, Hank is preceded in death by his son, Michael Mitchell, and 9 siblings.
Visitation will be at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 18, 2021, with the Memorial Service at 6:00 p.m. Online condolences may be expressed at www.Prokowall.com.
