Ihla Rae (Eisch) Zehren

Ihla Rae (Eisch) Zehren, 83, Green Bay, passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022, with her family at her side.  She was born on April 7, 1939, in Green Bay to the late Robert and Edith (Laskowski) Eisch.  She graduated from Green Bay East High School with the class of 1957.  On October 5, 1963, she married Martin “Marty” Zehren.  He preceded her in death on July 27, 2019.  After raising her three children, Ihla worked as a bookkeeper for most of her working life.  Ihla worked at her brother and sister-in-law’s greenhouse business called For All Seasons as a bookkeeper as well as at Curative Workshop until her retirement.  She enjoyed playing Rummikub and king’s corner.  In her younger years, she also worked with embroidery.  In her later years, she liked to watch the Game Show Network.  Ihla was fond of spending time with her family.

She is survived by her sons, David, Paul and Mark Zehren; grandchildren, Holly and Robert Zehren; sister, Carol Hoffman, sisters-in-law, Pat Eisch and Jan Zehren; brothers-in-law, Leroy (Duane) Zehren and Dale (Sandy) Zehren; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gene Eisch; brothers-in-law, Don Hoffman and Ron Zehren; and nephew, Brent Hoffman.

Visitation will be held at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., on Saturday, October 22, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service.  Memorial service 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 22, 2022, at the funeral home with Deacon Bill Burkel officiating.  Burial of Ihla’s cremated remains we be at Allouez Catholic Cemetery.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.prokowall.com.
