James J. St. Laurent, 91, De Pere resident, died Thursday, May 13, 2021, at a local care facility. He was born January 24, 1930, in Menominee, Michigan, to the late Alexander and Theresa St. Laurent. Jim graduated from Menominee High School and had a lengthy career as a Mechanical Draftsman at Green Bay Packaging’s Mill Division.

 Jim was a Snowbird and enjoyed his winters in lake Placid, Florida and summers at his home on Boulder Lake. He had many talents, but a true passion for woodcarving and painting. Jim was a hobbyist and a handyman. There was never a project too large or too small and he was always willing to lend a hand. Jim enjoyed hunting and fishing with family and friends.

 He is survived by his four children: Susan St. Laurent, Sturgeon Bay; Mark St. Laurent, Algoma; Bill St. Laurent, St. Pete’s Beach, FL and Renee St. Laurent, De Pere; nine grandchildren: Erin, Kelly, Stephanie, Ben, Eric, Lee, Mason, Faye and Emily; 11 great grandchildren and his former wife, Donna Bitters, Oshkosh.

 He was preceded in death by two sons, Patrick and Andre’ St. Laurent, the mother of his children, Elizabeth St. Laurent and his sister, Dolores Majkrzak.
