Jean A. Steeno, 91, Green Bay resident, passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022, with her family by her side. She was born on February 15, 1931, in Green Bay, to the late Richard and Viola (Lealiou) Mahn. Jean married Donald Steeno on November 5, 1960, at St. Josephs Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on September 14, 2010. They almost made it to their 50th wedding anniversary.
Jean loved gardening and was a faithful member of St. Philip the Apostle Parish for many years.
She is survived by three sons: Randall (Christine), Neenah; Allen (Michelle) and Brian (Michelle), all of Green Bay; seven grandchildren: Brandon (Krista); Christopher (Angie); Sarah (partner, Lesley Hubert); Anthony (Stacey); Kathryn Nichols (Paul); Veronica Fredenburgh (William) and Kelsey Steeno (special friend, Josh); 11 great grandchildren: Shalyn, Cody, Ryan, Max, Evan, Colin, Nicholas, Elizabeth, Tyler, Grace and Kenna. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one son, Kerry and daughter-in-law Beth.
Visitation for Jean will be held at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. from 4:00-7:00 pm Wednesday, March 2. A prayer service will close the evening at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Thursday at St. Philip the Apostle Church, 312 Victoria St. from 10:00-10:45 am. Funeral Mass 11:00 am Thursday at the church with Rev. Juan Zarate officiating.
